radio is an avocation, never interfering with duties owed to family, job, school or community.

station and skill allways ready for service to country and community.

Das “patriotisch” im Original ist wohl etwas dem damaligen Zeitgeist geschuldet. Dieser Teil wurde daher später durch den internationalen Aspekt ersetzt.
